    Try dead from cancer 5 to 10 years later. Whenever I see footage like this, I am just astounded by how little scientists and the military knew about the dangers of radiation. The other day I met an old sailor who had been at the Bikini Atoll tests aboard the USS Mount McKinley. He was in his late 80s and said that he was the last man from the crew who was still alive. He said most of his shipmates had died in their 50′s.
