The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the world-class family destinations, of fascination for anyone interested in the two-thirds of the earth that covered with water. I try to stop by every couple of years to check up on this state-of-the-art nature museum. One of the interesting interpretive twists are short lectures delivered by high-rez video clips, which certainly cuts down on the number of prepared speeches by volunteers at critical stops and also makes sure the docent talks stay on message. I’m not sure they worked. Patrons really enjoy the personal touch provided by docents.
