Friday Funnies: Red Sonja and Conan

As far as I know, this may be the only drawing I ever did of the Robert E. Howard heroes Conan the Barbarian and Red Sonja, and if you’re thinking Barry Windsor-Smith, yep, I was a fan of his inking style. Halfway through, ink spilled on Sonja’s face, and so she’s drawn with Wite-Out. Hawaii’s own Jason Momoa just finished filming the new Conan movie, and it looks to be fairly close to Howard’s vision. BTW, the movie “The Whole Wide World,” about Howard’s failed romance in Texas, is a terrific little film. Click fo’ bigga.
