This is Roo, the old man of the household. He’s the smallest critter in the menagerie, but Roo is completely in charge. At about ten pounds, Roo completely intimidates even our 100-pound dog. He wins every alpha-animal stare-down. Roo is regal, feisty, take-charge. We got him about 14 years ago, along with a sister — Tigger — who disappeared mysteriously about five years ago. Alas, Roo is entering into the final era of his reign. He has feline diabetes that requires twice-a-day injections, he’s weakening to the point where his back legs are pretty useless, he sleeps more than even the average cat. But when he’s awake, he hobbles around and puts the other animals in their place.
Once again, flummoxed by people who drive monster trucks to work — and they work in office buildings. 2010/09/02
Enter "Kaneohe Elementary School" into Google, and it will direct you to a random elementary school somewhere in Kaneohe. Not the right one. 2010/08/31
